Maternity protection during pregnancy
Maternity protection for working patients begins with the 34th week of pregnancy, or 6 weeks before the expected date of birth. Please do not forget to inform your health insurance company and your employer about the pregnancy and the date of birth.
Certificates for this can be obtained from our gynaecologist's practice at reception ("Certificate of the presumed date of delivery"). This certificate can be issued from the 25th week of pregnancy. The Maternity Protection Act regulates any restrictions or prohibitions in the workplace. If there are any problems in this regard, you are welcome to ask us or contact the trade supervisory office.
