Sport during pregnancy

We recommend sports with even and low impact:

  • Swimming and targeted gymnastics (prevention/relief of back pain, as well as preparation for the birth)
  • Aquagym for pregnant women
  • Walking
  • Cycling
  • walking
  • Yoga for pregnant women

Take care with competitive sports and sports with sudden changes of movement or increased risk of falling:

  • Tennis
  • squash
  • Ball games (team)
  • horse riding
  • Abdominal muscle exercises
  • Athletics
  • Roller or ice skating
  • Alpine skiing


Sauna visits are only recommended for patients with a stable circulation.
