Maternity protection during pregnancy

The maternity leave for working patients begins with the 34 weeks , or6 weeks before the expected date of delivery. Please do not forget to inform your health insurance and your employer about the pregnancy or the birth date.

Certificates for this purpose can be found in our Frauenarztpraxis at reception ("certificate of presumed date of confinement"). This certificate may be issued from the 33 + 0 weeks. The Maternity Protection Act regulates any restrictions or prohibitions in the workplace. If there are problems in this regard, you are welcome to ask us or contact the Labour Inspectorate in conjunction.
